Second Annual Engineering Industry Day a Great Success!

Second Annual Undergraduate Engineering Industry Day Friday, October 23, 2009

The Mechanical & Materials and Electrical & Computer Engineering Departments are hosting our Second Annual Undergraduate Engineering Industry Day on Friday, October 23rd from 12 - 5 p.m. in the Hotel Restaurant Tourism and Management Building (HRTM) south of Driscol South. We kick off with a buffet lunch/open session giving students an opportunity to speak directly with industry representatives. At 2:00 p.m. there will be presentations from industry, "Life after Undergrad" presentations by current graduate students and former students, and an internship panel of your peers.

Jon Belkowitz Passes his Thesis Defense

On Tuesday, September 15, 2009, Jon Belkowitz successfully defended his thesis defense "An Investigation of Nano Silica in the Cement Hydration Process." Congratulations, Jon, on a job well done!

Congratulations to Dr. Michelle Zeles-Hahn

The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering would like to congratulate Dr. Michelle Zeles-Hahn on her successful dissertation defense. On September 8, 2009, Michelle successfully defended her PhD dissertation "Electrohydrodynamic Atomization as a Technique for Pharmaceutical Manufacture and Delivery." Congratulations, Dr. Zeles-Hahn, on a job well done!
