Making of and Engineer Extreme Sports Summer Camp
The School of Engineering and Computer Science is once again hosting the Making of an Engineer Extreme Sports Summer Camp on the University of Denver campus. Successful Graduate Seminar Series
In the 2007-08 academic year, we kicked off our Graduate Seminar series. Our distinguished presenters this year included:
• Dr. Peter McMurry, Particle Technology Laboratory, University of Minnesota, “New Particle Formation and Growth Rates in the Atmosphere” - October 18, 2007
• Dr. Xianghong Qian, Mechanical Engineering, Colorado State University “Theoretical Investigation of Cooperative Hydrogen Bonding Networks in Cellulose I and I” - November 1, 2007
New Industrial Advisory Board Established
In February 2008, we held a very successful meeting with our newly established Industry Advisory Board, and are currently developing collaborations with several of these members.
Dr. Yi received ASME Journal of Tribology Best Paper Award

Dr. Yun-Bo Yi received ASME Journal of Tribology 2006 Best Paper Award in STLE-ASME International Joint Tribology Conference held in San Diego, CA October 22-24, 2007.
